Water Bag/storage tank

Update: 2026-09-18   Author: Ocat   View: 63℃

In biogas projects, there are often fluctuations between biogas production and actual gas consumption; therefore, a stable and reliable gas storage system is crucial to the overall operation of the project. Thanks to their flexible structure, ease of installation, and adjustable storage capacity, double-membrane gas holders are widely used in agricultural, livestock, and industrial biogas projects.

A double-membrane gas holder typically consists of an inner membrane, an outer membrane, a blower system, a pressure control system, and safety devices. The inner membrane is used to store biogas, while the outer membrane primarily serves a protective and structural support function, ensuring the stable operation of the gas holder through proper pressure control.

Compared to traditional rigid storage facilities, membrane storage systems offer greater flexibility in transportation, installation, and project expansion, allowing for the design of different storage capacities based on project scale.

In actual biogas projects, dual-membrane gas holders can also be integrated with anaerobic digestion, desulfurization, gas-liquid separation, flaring, and biogas utilization equipment to form a more comprehensive biogas storage and treatment solution.
