Overview – two functions, one manifold

Raw biogas leaving a household or farm digester carries two nuisances at the same time: hydrogen sulfide, which smells and corrodes burners, and water vapour, which condenses in the pipeline and blocks the gas flow. Most small plants handle them with two separate devices and two sets of connections. This 2-in-1 unit handles both on a single panel: gas passes the desulfurizer bottle(s) first, then the dehydrator bottle, then leaves through one 10 mm outlet to the appliance.

The assembly is built for site conditions rather than a laboratory. Every bottle is a sealed 3 L PBT vessel with a screw cap, connected by flexible hose on 10 mm barbs, and the whole manifold hangs on a plastic back panel that can be screwed to a wall. Adding capacity means adding a bottle to the panel – the 2-bottle version suits digesters up to 30 m³, the 3-bottle version up to 60 m³ – without changing the piping layout or the appliance connection.

Key features

Two functions in one pass – desulfurization and water removal are combined on a single manifold, so the gas train needs one connection at the digester and one at the appliance instead of two separate devices.
Capacity by the bottle – the same bottle and cap are used throughout; going from a 30 m³ to a 60 m³ digester means adding a bottle to the panel, not replacing the equipment.
Sealed PBT vessel – each 3 L bottle is moulded in PBT with a screw cap, so the media stays dry in storage and the bottle can be opened for refilling without tools.
Visible media condition – the translucent bottle wall lets the operator see the colour change of the media, which is the simplest field indicator that a refill is due.

Which build should I choose for my digester?
Match the build to the digester volume: up to 30 m³ use the two-bottle build (1 desulfurizer + 1 dehydrator); up to 60 m³ use the three-bottle build (2 desulfurizers + 1 dehydrator).

How do I refill the bottles?
Each bottle has a screw cap. Unscrew the cap, replace the media, close the cap and put the bottle back on the panel – no piping needs to be opened.

Can I add capacity later?
Yes. The panel accepts additional bottles; contact us with your digester size and we will confirm the configuration.
